Re-Framing Resilience Photographer Interest Form

Re-Framing Resilience: A picture is worth a thousand words and The United for Waukesha Resiliency Center invites community members, affected by the Waukesha Parade tragedy, to share their stories of resilience through the lens of a camera. We are calling on local professional photographers to help capture these stories on June 5, 2024 at Frame Park in Waukesha.

Photographs have the power to tell an entire story through the capture of just a moment in time, enabling us to communicate what words might not be able to convey. Both written stories and photos can be cathartic in helping people process their experiences, release & cope with their emotions and find hope and resilience.

The United for Waukesha Resiliency Center team thanks you for your interest and willingness to support this event. We hope to work with many families and to celebrate their stories throughout the summer. Photographs and stories will have the option to be displayed and celebrated at our 1,000 Words Gallery Night in late summer 2024. The Resiliency Center is happy to offer benefits to each of our volunteer photographers that include social media highlights, website recognition, 1,000 Word Gallery Night display and more.
