Artistic Connections
Artistic Connection is an art therapy group for children and youth affected by the 2021 Waukesha Christmas Parade. This group is designed to be an open studio-style experience where you are invited to explore, create and connect through art and community with experienced support staff available for deeper reflection as needed. This holistic approach addresses both emotional and cognitive aspects of healing and can help with mood improvement, self-expression, catharsis, relaxation and stress-reduction. This group will meet Mondays from 6:00-7:00 pm at UWRC and is for ages 6-12 (exceptions made as needed). The group will run from January 6th through March 31st with materials provided. All programming is free of charge. No group January 20th.
