Creative Connections Music Therapy – (Ages 5-14)

The United for Waukesha Resiliency Center is excited to partner again with Healing Harmonies to present Creative Connections Musical Edition, a music therapy group for youth affected by the 2021 Waukesha Christmas Parade. The group will focus on being able to hear one another, bond with others and facilitate social connectedness. Music can provide non-verbal outlets for emotions, increase feelings of self-worth, and help regain confidence. This could look like playing instruments and making music together, listening to preferred music and discussing the themes, or self-expression through music, with experienced support staff available for deeper reflection as needed. The group will meet every Monday from 5:00-5:50 pm starting September 30th. The group is open to ages 5-14 years old. All programming is free of charge.
